I was a little bored, so I klicked on the Wise Guys homepage. Again. Usually, I'm there only once a day, which would have been this morning...
So when I surfed on their homepage this afternoon, I saw that you could already buy tickets for the "Spezialnacht" (a special concert) in February. 
Now I have a ticket: 1st row, seat 13 (pretty much in the center 
Alright, I wanted to tell some people in person first before spreading the news openly.
I will spend the next year in Cologne, as a volunteer at the opera house. For the German readers: this will be a FSJ (Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr) in der Kultur. (Yes, you can do this
I'm still searching for a place to live there, so if someone knows a good address, tell me!
I still can't quite believe I made it. Wow!

Okay, it's 0:35am and I'm still here. I could go to bed, but I don't feel like it. I should, I know. I have stuff to do tomorrow - eehh, today. Instead, I'm surfing through the world wide web, always looking for new toys I can play with.

I was in Cologne this (=last) weekend. Yep, as a tourist, but more important, as a Wise Guys Fan. Actually, I was there because of them. I went to their Open Air concert on Saturday night and stayed until Monday.
After I had met some other fans earlier this year (who I first knew from the Wise Guys Forum), I decided I had to be there as there would be lots of others from the forum I'd like to meet in person.
Crazy as I am, I decided to stay longer - with a girl I had never seen. Well, we had been chatting and emailing. :D A new friend! The weekend was great! :)
So then, on Saturday morning we left Heidelberg and we arrived in Cologne at about 10am. The others already met for breakfast, but we went to our hotel first (a very nice one, in Deutz). Then we joined the others at about 12noon. Sounds nice. Well, the concert started at 6pm!!! and we had to wait until about 3.30pm to enter the place. The time was over very quickly as we met known and new people and talked immediately :).
We entered and waited another 2 hours, but we had videoclips (which we accompanied) and people around us that made them feel like 2 seconds *g*.
The concert itself - WOW! Nearly every song was sung by both - the 5 on the stage and the crowd in front of it. There were only a few songs where listening was preferred (ballads and new songs), and one which we sung nearly alone *g*.
The weather forecast had said that there would be rain, but it only started when the concert was over. The concert was over, but not this night - there was the aftershowparty. Good music, great people - what more do I want?! Oh yes, "stars" who can stand right in the middle of the crowd and party just like us. Honestly!
On Sunday, we slept in, noticed that it was raining, and had breakfast before we left for the city.
We visited the cathedral (I love it - it's simply a WOW!). Then we wanted to go to the chocolate museum (2 girls, what do you expect?! ;) ). But it was to crowded (remember: rainy Sunday...), and so we decided to be crazy and went off for the Wise Guys office. (no more details here o:) ) In the evening we went to the Rhine (it had stopped raining) and watched people walking by. And we drank Kölsch (Cologne's beer).
On Monday morning it was - raining. Again. This time it seemed to be worse. After 5 minutes in the rain my shoes were wet. My socks were wet. My feet... And I had to stay like this. Anyway, we went to the chocolate museum again (after leaving our luggage at the main station). Very interesting and lots of (free) chocolate :D. We couldn't resist to drink a hot chocolate there *yummy*. To flee the rain, we went to the cathedral again and sat down for a while. Then we crossed the square and went to the main station to catch our train back home.
Two things left to say:
Do you know Jabber, the Instant Message Service? You can use it via GoogleTalk, WEB.DE or GMX e-mail account, LifeJournal talk or any other registered JabberID. You can use it via the official clients from Google etc., or you use Miranda or similar clients (Trillian works online in the Pro-Version with Jabber :| ).
Why don't you try it?! Jabber doesn't say what you are allowed to do in instant messaging (ICQ etc do this, they say everything you type or send via their service will be their property... -> be careful! I'm keeping my other accounts anyway ;).
If you send me a message via the usual IMs or email me or leave a comment, you can get my JabberID (actually, I have 3 o:), but one is only for "Lokalisten.de", one is GoogleTalk and the 3rd is my WEB.DE-address).

Hey you guys - if there's still someone reading my stuff ;)
My week in Italy with Chiara (Dec/Jan) was great! It was really nice to be there again. We also went to Pisa, which is a small, but beautiful town (yeah, we saw the Leaning Tower, of course! But we didn't go up - 15 € is way to much money :O ...).
And I got to meet her boyfriend, who is a nice guy, I must say ;)... (Enrico, if you read this: When did you say you were coming to Germany?)
Then, it's carneval time over here, but I won't party... I'm not that into dressing up (but I will help to organize a party for kids... I think I'll be a Pippi Longstockings ;) ).
Working time is starting... I will have to start studying for my Abitur (final school exams)... I'm looking forward (haha) to Maths and Biology... Englisch and German are not that much, luckily... (by the way, does anybody like short stories?! I mean, there might be quite nice ones, but we have some really strange ones and they will probably be in the exam...)
I added another thing here - a list showing my recently played music tracks (from Last.fm). If you listen regularly to music on the computer, why don't you just try it? It would be interesting to watch what you are listening to ;)...
